Taste of the NFL • Tackling Hunger In America • Super Bowl XLII

Wayne Kostroski, founder of "Tastes of the NFL"
Taste of the NFL • Tackling Hunger In America • Super Bowl XLII
This is a great fundraiser that takes place on Saturday night before the Superbowl.
This benefit addresses the problem of hunger in America.

Two chefs from the Northern Ca. cities of Oakland and San Francisco will be representing the Raiders, and the Forty-Niners.

Chef Paul Arenstam of Hotel Vitale, in S.F. will be preparing braised Berkshire pork shoulder

with Gremolata and heirloom chicories.

Chris Rossi, head chef of citron, across the bay in Oakland, will be preparing citrus pickled prawns with a rice bean salad, and chimichurri sauce...I'm looking forward to this year's "Tastes of the NFL".

Patriots are almost there!

A shot I got of Tom Brady just after Superbowl 39 in Jacksonville, Fla.
..Here are three reasons why I think the Patriots will win Superbowl 42:

1-I think the Patriots will be under less pressure than the San Diego game.

2-This is their third game since the playoffs began, and they'll really hit stride in Superbowl 42.

3-Both teams will try and learn from their regular season finale, but I think the Patriots will take that knowledge, and apply it best.

The reverend Jessie Jackson poses with a copy of our book, titled "SLICES OF THE NFL"
outside of our hotel in Miami at Superbowl 41.
..Second from left, next to me is our good friend Dave Treloar, my brother Eric is right of Mr. Jackson.

The beginning..

In 2002 the underdog New England Patriots upset the heavily favored St.Louis Rams, to win Superbowl 36.
That's where my "SUPER" story begins...

Jerome Bettis celebrates Superbowl XL win

I shot this photo of "THE BUS" as he was celebrating his victory against the Seahawks, and announcing his retirement from pro football.
I squeezed myself in just below the NFL Network camera jib arm, which was shooting live, to get this pic.
